Listening e Speaking são idênticos. Reading General é mais simples (textos cotidianos: avisos, manuais) que Academic (artigos científicos). Writing General Task 1 é uma carta (mais fácil de praticar), Academic Task 1 é descrever gráficos. Para brasileiros, General costuma ser 0.5 banda mais fácil de atingir.
